Welcome to Geneva Trains

In November, I noticed more and more in bound to Chicago trains arriving from time to time on South Platform 2.
Chicago bound passengers have been conditioned to board on the North Platform 1.

I quickly determined passengers were suffering from 'TRACK ANXIETY'.

I don't believe it ... the freight train missed him by 10 feet!
Chicago bound trains slowing down or stopping 3 blocks before the station to allow passengers on Platform 1 to cross at 3rd Street to Platform 2.
I personally witnessed passengers going under downed gates and the man who almost got run over by a freight train
I personally witnessed inbound trains on the South track stopping or slowing down to let passengers on Platform

to cross tracks to get to Platform 2

I personally witnessed inbound trains on the South track NOT stopping or slowing down causing passengers to miss their trains.

Seeing these passenger behaviors, seeing passengers missing trains, and seeing more and more trains arriving and loading on South Platform 2,
